Dr. Steve Albrecht is internationally-known for his pioneering work in both workplace
violence prevention and the emerging field known as "high-risk human resources." For the past 23
years, Steve has continued to speak, write, consult, and train on tough organizational topics. He brings his
training, HR, law enforcement, security, coaching, and writing background to difficult subjects like workplace violence,
sexual or racial harassment, diversity, drugs and alcohol at work, team conflicts, and stress management.
Besides providing training for his private-sector clients, Steve specializes in workshops for city and county
governments, helping taxpayer-contact employees stay safe at work, and teaching police and fire departments harassment prevention
and team-building programs.
Besides his work in high-risk H.R. and training, Steve also provides
hourly-rate, developmental and corrective coaching for supervisors, employees, and teams. Using self-assessment instruments,
interviews, and face-to-face or telephone sessions, Steve or one of his team members can usually create improvements
within five sessions.
Steve also serves as an expert witness for attorneys involved
in cases with HR and management issues, security failures, and crime or personal injury at work due to violence. If
